Mr. Dyer has over 30 years experience in Information Technology, ranging from programming to a member of senior management. His primary focus has been in three areas:
Mr. Dyer has 13 years of software process improvement experience and has functioned as a Lean Six Sigma black belt for the past four years performing organizational process improvement. In 2008 Mr. Dyer studied with Thomas Pyzdek, author of The Six Sigma Handbook, to complete his Master Black Belt certification in Training and Coaching. His six sigma project experience has focused on Design for Six Sigma and DMAIC projects in software and healthcare environments. He has used Lean Kaizens extensively to quickly identify and solve process problems.
Mr. Dyer has 20 years of experience in software development, project management and management of software development organizations. He has a proven record of success in IT service organizations responsible for P&L/fiscal accountability, analyzing industry trends, setting business goals and vision, building infrastructure and managing risk taking. He has extensive experience in competitive marketing and proposal development, product/service pricing, developing new business, managing customer service and assuring quality and reliability. He has significant experience in leading large defense and civilian contracts.
From 2001 through 2008, Mr. Dyer was employed in the health care industry performing software process improvement and business process redesign using ISO 9001, FDA and Capability Maturity Model (CMMI) regulations and requirements.
